Editorial Board

To be considered for the Editorial Board, applicants must meet specific criteria, including relevant academic qualifications, research experience, and a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards in medical research.

Eligibility for becoming a member of the Editorial Board

For consideration, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  1. MD, Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field of medical science.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of post-MD/Ph.D. or 10 years of post-Master’s degree experience in a specific area of medical science.
  3. A track record of at least 10 publications in international research papers.
  4. Preference will be given to candidates with a current position as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.

These qualifications will be essential for successful consideration for the role.

Guidelines and Responsibilities

  • Support for Open Access: Editorial board members should have a strong commitment to the principles of open access and the goal of making scientific research freely available to the global community. They should actively advocate for open access within the scientific community.
  • Peer Review: Editorial board members often play a crucial role in the peer review process. They should have expertise in their respective fields and be willing to review manuscripts impartially and in a timely manner. They should ensure that the peer review process is fair, transparent, and rigorous, maintaining confidentiality and providing constructive feedback to authors.

They should be familiar with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and help prevent and address issues such as plagiarism, fraud, conflicts of interest, and other forms of research misconduct.
