WAMS Awards Program

Given to the most prominent academicians, clinics or laboratories within the WAMS universe.

These highly prestigious annual awards are given to selected nominees in medical sciences. Nominees who have made the most important contributions to medicine in their fields and specialties win the awards.

GLOBAL RECOGNITION

Academicians are granted international status with the Academy membership titles which give them all the privileges of international protocol and customs exemptions.

ACADEMIC DEGREE

Academy membership primarily require professional credentials and qualifications, and certain applicants are required to pass professional proficiency exams.

UNCANNY EDUCATION

Our academic members are provided with up-to-date Medical Sciences education for a vanguardist vision to bring into their practice or research activities.

MEDICAL COMPETENCY

Academy degrees follow strict medical competency aimed to comply with international validation standards in Continued Medical Education.

WAMS Awards of Excellence

These highly prestigious annual awards are given to selected nominees in medical sciences.

ACADEMY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (AAA)

AAA awards are granted to Academicians. They are in four categories:

  • Academy Achievement Award (AAA)
  • High Academy Achievement Award (HAAA)
  • Superior Academy Achievement Award (SAAA)
  • Pre-eminent Academy Achievement Award (PAAA)

WAMS AWARD (WAMSA)

Nominees for WAMS Awards need not be Academicians. These highly prestigious annual awards are given to three selected nominees in clinical sciences and five in basic medical sciences. Nominees who have made the most important contributions to medicine in their fields and specialties win the awards. The awards include WAMSA certificates, WAMSA shields and prize money each of which is €1,000,000. The prize money for teams/groups is shared among the team/group members.

WAMS LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (WAMSLA)

This is an exclusive award granted in unlimited numbers to veteran Academy fellows who are highly distinguished, acclaimed in their fields and have mede important contributions to international medicine. The award includes the WAMSLA ceritificate and the WAMSLA shield.

WAMS HONORARY AWARD (WAMSHA)

This is an exclusive award granted in unlimited numbers to people who have made important contributions to international and humanitarian ministration of the world. Winners of the award are distinguished scholars and academics outside medical fields. They are known for their work and contribution to humanitarianism and science. The award includes the WAMSHA certificate and the WAMSHA shield.

WAMS INSTITUTIONAL AWARDS (WAMSIA)

These awards granted, in unlimited numbers, to the Academy's member institutions, including medical schools and colleges, hospitals, clinics, medical laboratories, medical research laboratories, research institutions and clinical institutions, which have made important contributions to the Academy or to international medicine. Each award includes the WAMSIA certificate and the WAMSIA shield as well as a prize money which varies from €1,000,000 to €5,000,000.

WAMS SCIENTIFIC ENTERPRISE AWARD (WAMSEA)

These awards granted, in unlimited numbers, to pharmaceutical companies and laboratories, biomedical and biotechnology companies and laboratories, etc.institutions, which have made important contributions to the to the science of medicine. Each award includes the WAMSEA ceritificate and the WAMSEA shield as well as a prize money which varies from €1,000,000 to €5,000,000.

ACADEMY ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD (AEA)

These awards granted, in unlimited numbers, to member and non-member senior medical students and interns who have made exceptional achievements during their undergraduate or postgraduate studies. Each award includes AEA ceritificate and the AEA shield as well as a prize money which varies from €10,000 to €50,000.
