ACADEMY PROFESSORSHIP

The title of Academy Professorship is granted very selectively and does not require any professional exams. It is authorized, granted and issued by the Academy Faculty. Academy Professors are given highly special national and international academic prerogative, authority, rights and privileges. Nominees are selected from Academy fellows with or without non-academy professorship.

Academicians are granted international status with the Academy membership (MWAMS) and fellowship (FWAMS) titles which give them all the privileges of international protocol and customs exemptions. Most Academicians are distinguished medical professionals and most of them come from academic mediums. To join the Academy, prospective Academicians do not have to be academics. Academy membership and fellowship primarily require personal and professional credentials and qualifications, and certain applicants are required to pass professional proficiency exams. The Executive Council of the Academy and its National Councils in member countries have the authority to waive the exams for the fellowship and membership when necessary
