Dr. Kuo-Hui Su, MD
Dr. Su is the Chairman of the WAMS International Medical Research Council (IMREC), Fellow of the Academy & Member of the WAMS Executive Council (WAMS Executive Board).
He has 12+ years of experience in animal models (mice and rat), cell cultures (primary, cancer, and stem cells), molecular biology techniques (lncRNA, genomics, and proteomics) and fluorescence microscopy, presentation skills of research findings in national and international conferences, and research grant and manuscript writing. He also has expertise in cardiovascular and cancer biology. Specialized in atherosclerosis, endothelial biology, cellular protein homeostasis, proteostasis, and autophagy. His research has resulted in 22+ international scientific peer-reviewed publications.
Dr. Su has strong innovation-driven, collaboration-oriented, team-worked, leadership, self-motivated, goal-oriented and multitask research scientist. Ability in tackle difficult biological questions and accepts challenges of great significance.
