Dr. Walter Bini, MD, PhD
Dean of Faculty
Dr. Walter Bini is the WAMS Dean of Faulty, an Academy Fellow and a Member of the WAMS Education and Training Board (ETB).
Besides general micro neurosurgery, Dr. Bini has a special interest and expertise in the management of head trauma, neuro-oncology, stereotaxy and radiosurgery, spinal surgery including less invasive techniques and neuroradiology. Since 2014, he is the Middle East Chairman of ISLASS. He is also an active Member and Board Member of numerous international societies, among these: SAS, German Neurosurgical Society, AANS and the Skull Base Study Group. Dr. Bini is also a direct co-worker of Prof. Dr. Madjid Samii in Hannover, Germany.
Additionally, since 2017, Dr. Bini is the Lead Neurosurgeon at the Waldkrankenhaus for Special Surgeries by Leipzig, Germany-Trauma, Sport, and Spine Department.
