Prof. Gandhi is the Lead for Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Bristol and has been teaching at the University since 1998 as honorary faculty, becoming the lead for Radiology since September 2017. He is also Professor of Radiology, Research and Innovation Lead for Core Clinical Services.
Prof. Gandhi is a senior consultant at the largest tertiary care teaching hospital and regional trauma centre in the South West England, where he has received consistently excellent ratings for providing high-quality patient care.
He has a number of leading roles including the Lead Clinician for Radiation Protection for patients, hospital visitors and staff members at the North Bristol NHS Trust. Prof. Gandhi is also the Lead Radiologist for Haematology Cancer Team for the past 15 years. He is actively involved in mentoring of junior consultants and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate trainees at the University of Bristol and the University of West of England.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK.
